Description
Offering a 30% increase in strength over standard rigging wire, low stretch and smooth surface lowering drag, this wire was developed to satisfy the serious sailor. The diagrams show how the drawing and winding process creates specially shaped wires which fills a greater proportion of the strand cross-section. The higher the density of the wire, the greater the strength and lower the stretch is. This allows for smaller diameter Hammas to substitute the existing wire diameter, reducing the weight of the rigging and decreasing the drag. 316G SS. Priced by the metre.
