With their high level of flexibility, the DC driven pumps from SPX Johnson Pumps can be used for a variety of different onboard applications such as bilge pump out, deckwash, fuel transfer and grey water discharge. They are not suited for pumping paraffin or other thin petroleum products and can be automated with a vacuum switch when used as bilge pumps and with a pressure switch for deck wash applications. They have oil resistant impellors and are easy to maintain. They handle some bilge debris and are self priming. They are available in both 12 and 24 volts and have lips seals.This pump has an integrated quick reversing switch and is designed to remove old oil from the engine and pump new oil back in.
