Description

Pressure controlled diaphram pumps provide boatowners with a freshwater system that is as easy to use as their domestic water supply, with the versatility to offer full flow or a trickle. The pump is controlled by a switch which senses the pressure drop when a tap is opened and activates the pump; it turns off when the system pressure builds to a pre-set limit as the tap is closed. These diaphram pumps offer smooth flow and quiet running, can be run dry and will self-prime to 1.5 metres. Output up to 11 litres / minute (3 GPM) at open flow

  • Pressure switch cuts in at ca. 1,4 bar (20 psi) and cuts out at 2,8 bar (40 psi)
  • 3-chamber Santoprene diaphragm and EPDM valves
  • Typically used for potable water systems with 2-3 outlets
  • Self-Priming up to 1.8 metres
  • Runs dry without damage
  • Equipped with a bypass which enables smoother flow and decreases cycling
  • Including straight snap-in ports 2 x 13mm (1/2") hose barb as well as 1 x 40 MESH mini strainer

  • It is recommended that automatic diaphram pumps are installed with an accumulator tank to reduce pump cycles.
